Job DetailsJob Location: ATEK Metal Technologies - New Hampton, IA 50659Position Type: Full TimeSetup & Core Supervisor We’re looking for a strong, hands-on Setup & Core Supervisor to lead setup and core operations across all shifts. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and engagement while ensuring consistent execution and compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you’re a manufacturing leader who leads by example, holds high standards, and enjoys developing people while improving processes, this role offers the opportunity to make a real impact. What You’ll Do: Lead setup and core teams across all shifts with a focus on safety, quality, and results Create a safe, engaged, and accountable work environment Coach and develop department leads and production employees Monitor KPIs, production metrics, and tooling performance; implement corrective actions as needed Ensure tooling, equipment, and processes meet production and quality standards Drive consistent communication and alignment across shifts Use root cause analysis to solve problems and improve performance Partner with Planning, Maintenance, HR, and Production to meet customer and staffing demands Ensure compliance with Standard Work Instructions (SWIs), safety regulations, and company policies What We’re Looking For: Required High school diploma or equivalent Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment Strong commitment to safety, quality, and team development Preferred Foundry or aluminum casting experience Knowledge of aluminum casting tooling Root cause analysis experience ERP system experience (IQMS a plus) Work Environment Approximately 50% office / 50% shop floor Exposure to a manufacturing/foundry environment (heat, dust, noise, fumes) Occasional customer site travel This role is ideal for a supervisor who wants to lead people, improve processes, and drive results across a critical area of operations.
