Description Setup Mechanic Catoosa, OK Position Summary: NGSG has immediate openings for an experienced Setup Mechanic (training available for mechanically inclined applicants). Position requires layout of equipment on a skid and alignment of rotating equipment. Should be familiar with setting heavy equipment (up to 25,000lbs), coupling alignments using dial indicators or laser alignment tools, and adjusting for soft foot. Millwright and/or compressor packaging a plus. Be able to read layout prints to set equipment in location and align. You must have a minimum of 3 years of experience and have the needed tools for the job. Hours: Monday – Friday: 40-50 per week *All hours are subject to change based on company needs* No per diem is offered Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour based on experience Who we are: Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. Physical Requirements & Work Environment This role is performed in a fabrication shop environment and requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Standing, walking, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift). · The position involves frequent physical labor, including lifting and carrying heavy items up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be able to safely handle these tasks and perform additional physical duties as needed to support operations. Performing physical activities requiring use of arms, legs, and full-body movement (e.g., uneven surfaces, stand/sit long periods of time, bending, stooping, hard surfaces, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crouching). Visual acuity is necessary to read blueprints, measure components, and inspect welds for quality and accuracy. Must be able to tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and fabrication shop conditions. Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), which may include welding hood, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots.
