REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in sewage or utility inspections is desirable.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full clean driving licence
• NRWSA Chapter 8 Street Works card

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sewage Surge Chamber Inspection Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, assessing, and reporting on the condition of underground sewage chambers to ensure safety, compliance, and functionality of the Severn Trent Waste Water Network.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct routine and emergency inspections of sewage chambers.
• Use specialized equipment such as gas detectors to assess conditions.
• Document findings and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Identify and report potential hazards or maintenance needs.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Full training given.
