Description Looking for an experienced sewer, able to produce quality work, in production environment. Responsible for sewing and cutting fabric. Must have good hand-eye coordination and be knowledgeable with various fabrics and sewing techniques. Occasionally will help with other departments as needed. Requirements Duties and Responsibilities Monitor for defects in stitching or machine malfunctions Sew cushions and upholstery for furniture Cutting material Sew custom jobs such as custom cushions and drapery Qualifications Experience with the following: Sewing experience with commercial machines Able to read a tape measure Ability to replicate patterns Ability to work under time constraints Ability to safely use different types of sewing machines Must be dependable Company Overview Admiral Furniture is a local company that specializes in manufacturing commercial grade aluminum patio furniture.
