The Sewer brings upholstery to life—operating industrial sewing machines to skillfully join cut fabric pieces and craft high-quality furniture coverings. We’re always looking for talented people to join our team and grow together.  What We Offer  * Comprehensive health, dental, and vision plans * 401(k) with match after 12 months * Employee Assistance Program and Chaplain Services for emotional and mental well-being * Paid benefit time off, including sick, vacation, parental, and holidays * Generous discounts on our exceptional products.  What You Do 1.Operates sewing machine to prepare and sew upholstery covers, trim, etc. for mounting. 2.Cuts stacks of upholstery fabric to specifications, working from templates or patterns. 3.Sews flat work, cushions, leather and waterfall skirts. 4.Plans material usage to minimize waste. 5.Assists in additional housekeeping duties for department including dusting and mopping as needed to ensure safety. 6.Any other duties as assigned by supervisor. What You Bring •Three or more years of experience as a sewing machine operator, preferably in a manufacturing or production setting. •Ability to read documentation and translate that information into a finished product. •Exceptional hand-eye coordination and detail-oriented; •Ability to top stitch and saddle stitch. •Ability to flow match pieces that are sewn together. •Ability to sit and sew for majority of a shift. •Good attendance and demonstrated work ethic required.
