Reflex Manufacturing Ltd. is a major supplier/manufacturer of Reusable Flexible Insulation Systems in western Canada’s industrial insulation and Oil and Gas markets. A significant part of our manufacturing process involves sewing together various materials to form the jacket, liner and assembly components of our insulation covers.
Reflex is looking for a dynamic individual to fulfill a Sewing Machine Operator - Industrial vacancy in our manufacturing facility.

SKILLS

• Experience with operating sewing machines. Industrial sewing experience over 1 year is an asset
• Attention to detail and ability to see details up to close
• Hand-eye coordination and willing to learn new sewing machines (i.e. double needle)
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain a clean work area
• Ability to speak and read/write in English to be able to communicate with the team

• Obtain cover patterns and sew according to job specifications and manufacturing instructions
• Sign job sheets
• Attach correct cords and flaps
• Select the appropriate threads
• Addition of drain grommets as per instructions
• Comply with all aspects of Reflex’s Health and Safety Program at all times
• Contribute to the effectiveness of Reflex’s Quality Management program
• Willing to work in other departments as need arise (assisting in prepping, closing and packing)
• Clean and maintain your sewing machine and work area
