Position Overview: We are seeking a Sewing Machine Operator / Upholstery Technician to join our manufacturing and production team. In this role, you will operate industrial sewing machines, cut patterns, and produce high-quality custom upholstery products in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in sewing, upholstery, or manufacturing, as well as detail-oriented individuals looking to grow their skills. Essential Responsibilities: Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines (threading, bobbin changes, needle replacement) Cut patterns and materials accurately for upholstery production Execute custom upholstery jobs based on work orders and specifications Maintain consistent quality control and craftsmanship Work in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines Maintain productivity and meet daily production goals Perform other general production and sewing duties as needed Perform all other duties as assigned Requirements & Skills: Experience with sewing, upholstery, or industrial sewing machines preferred Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work in a production or manufacturing environment Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently Physical Demands: Lift, carry, push, and/or pull 1-50 lbs. frequently Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp, and reach overhead and outward frequently Sit, stand, and walk for 1-10 hours per day Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, eye protection, steel-toed shoes, and other appropriate protective clothing Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) Matching Dental Insurance Health Insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
