JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Title: Sewing Machinist
Location: Wincham, Northwich
Pay: £13.07/hour
Hours of Work: 7:30am-16:30pm Mon-Thurs; 7.30am -12pm Friday

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Previous sewing machinist experience essential
• Be able to work with heavy materials
• To work accurately and efficiently at a fast pace
• To be able to work independently and within a team
• Attention to detail and sew to a high standard
• Adhere to health and safety regulations

• Using a range of machines e.g. single stitch, twin needle and over-lockers to carry out a range of tasks and produce different finishes
  · Adjusting machine settings to suit the type of material and finish required
  · Checking that a finished article matches the pattern instructions
  · Oiling and cleaning your machine and work area
  · Working a limited amount of overtime when required
  · Other non-sewing jobs if required
