Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Production Operative, to join our Wearables and Leisure team based in Peterhead.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE PRODUCTION OPERATIVE ROLE INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Operates various equipment and machinery safely as part of a manufacturing production line, or in contribution to the development of new product prototypes; adjusts machinery as needed and according to training - this may involve becoming certified or licensed as competent to operate or adjust that machinery
  • Carries out operational tasks to Survitec standard, ensuring work is completed right first time and flagging any instances of variation or failure to meet standard
  • Carries out installation tasks, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete those allocated tasks
  • Helps to maintain and repair equipment and appliances by carrying out standard preparation, inspection or maintenance tasks, following strict, detailed instruction
  • Supports the quality function by working within strict quality standards and identifying instances of non-compliance, so that problem-solving and corrective action can be taken
  • Accurately follows mandatory work instructions, including the use of personal protective equipment where relevant, to actively safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of self and others
  • Develops and maintains excellent skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching
  • Contributes to creating an environment where everyone in the team can live the Survitec Values
