  • Psychologist - $39.01 - $57.10 per hour

    The Integrated Violence Prevention & Response Service (IVPRS) is responsible for strategic leadership, clinical service provision and capacity building for the portfolio areas of sexual assault, domestic violence and child protection.

IVPRS are responsible for ensuring 24hr crisis counselling and medical services to people in Western Sydney who have been recently sexually assaulted. The after-hours service is based at Blacktown Hospital. The after-hours sexual assault counsellor has three key roles;

  • To provide crisis counselling and advocacy for victims of sexual assault.
  • To support and provide information to victims of sexual assault and their family members/friends.
  • To work closely with the Forensic Medical Unit and Police to facilitate medical/forensic examination.
