POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Sexualized Violence Response Consultant will be the first point of contact for students and staff who have experienced or have concerns related to sexualized violence and/or gender-based violence.
The incumbent will be responsible for conducting intake, accepting disclosures and complaints of sexualized violence, and supporting individuals who are impacted by sexualized violence. They will help create and improve processes to better support individuals while advocating to enhance the response to sexualized violence, harassment, and discrimination to increase safety in our community.
This role will report to the Director of Student Experience and their work will be supported by a committee of faculty, students, and staff. Working closely with Mount Allison’s Sexualized Violence Prevention and Education Coordinator, Mental Health Counsellors, Social Worker, and other key contacts, this position may be required to maintain some office hours in residence and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
