You will be responsible for designing scalable solutions, managing complex integrations, and mentoring the backend team. Key Responsibilities: Architect and implement advanced SFCC backend solutions Develop advanced workflows, services, and integrations Optimize backend scalability and high-traffic performance Implement advanced OCAPI/SCAPI customizations Manage advanced catalog structures and data pipelines Develop caching and resilience strategies Mentor and guide junior backend developers Collaborate with stakeholders on technical requirements What you will bring Technical Skills Required: SFCC Script API (dw/* modules) proficiency Cartridge development, controllers, and path management Transactions and data persistence BasketMgr, OrderMgr, PaymentMgr, CustomerMgr, ProductMgr, CategoryMgr Hooks and middleware patterns OCAPI customization and integrations Debugging/logging in Business Manager Configure site preferences, payment/shipping/tax methods, jobs, and services Multi-site and multi-tenant architectures Advanced cartridge inheritance and extension patterns Complex service orchestration & event-driven architecture Advanced catalog management and custom object modeling Data import/export pipeline development Deployment automation and DevOps practices Security and compliance implementation Experience Level: 5–8 years backend development experience 4+ years SFCC-specific experience Enterprise-level SFCC implementation experience Leadership Skills: Mentorship and technical guidance Cross-team collaboration Technical decision-making for backend architecture
