Description We are seeking compassionate, responsible Childcare Supervision Staff to care for children (typically ages 0–12) while their parents participate in the program. This is a vital role that supports families by ensuring children are safe, engaged, and nurtured in a fun and structured environment. This is a position on our Strengthening Families Team that is only for approximately 2 hours a week on Wednesday evenings. What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference... Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate games, crafts, and activities Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment at all times Ensure adherence to safety protocols and emergency procedures Collaborate with other childcare staff and report concerns to the program coordinator Support a culturally sensitive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all families Driving is required Requirements Qualifications Prior experience working with children in a childcare, educational, or community setting Ability to create a warm, safe, and structured atmosphere Strong communication skills and a calm, patient demeanor Bay State Community Services is an equal opportunity employer.
