Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Manager, Business Development who will focus on identifying and securing new business opportunities while nurturing and growing relationships with key clients (e.g., corporate enterprises, insurance firms, and brokers). Success in this role requires strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to build strong, trust-based relationships across diverse stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is results-driven, collaborative, and a natural communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. They possess the agility to navigate ambiguity, adapt to new challenges, and innovate within a start-up or growth-stage organization. Working closely with internal cross-functional teams such as marketing, operations, and finance, you will lead the charge in developing and executing strategies to acquire, manage, and grow key accounts.
This position reports directly to the Head of Commercial, Outpatient Services and is based in Singapore.

A SUMMARY OF THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS :

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of business opportunities through proactive outreach, qualified lead management, and strategic account mapping.
  • Navigate complex corporate structures and sell to multiple stakeholders at varying levels within client organisations.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximise revenue across the portfolio.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with senior decision-makers to navigate matrixed organisations effectively.
  • Serve as the account lead for key clients, managing relationships, providing insights, and ensuring long-term satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including legal, marketing, operations, and finance, to develop tailored solutions and resolve client challenges.
  • Define and execute 1–2-year strategic account plans, aligning with organisational goals and client needs.
  • Gather and analyse market intelligence to identify trends and adjust strategies to capitalise on emerging opportunities.
  • Ensure high-quality, client-centric communication at all touchpoints and resolve escalations promptly.
  • Negotiate and prepare contract renewals and documentation to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
