JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the strategic alignment of Digital and Data solutions with the Independent Football Regulator’s strategic objectives and regulatory roadmap.
- Analyse, and document business requirements for Digital and Data Profession initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory objectives and data governance principles.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications for Digital and Data Profession solutions.
- Support the testing and implementation of Digital and Data Profession solutions, ensuring they meet the defined requirements and deliver the intended business value.
- Contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of Digital and Data Profession initiatives, identifying opportunities for optimisation and enhanced effectiveness.
- Interpreting and documenting user needs and requirements.
- Guide user experience analysis, prioritisation and validation, recommending techniques to align with business and user needs and articulate their impact on system design
- Supporting the prioritisation of Digital and Data Profession deliverables
- Educate and support the wider Independent Football Regulator to understand the importance of the role of Digital and Data Profession specifically to their areas and in general.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, manage stakeholder expectations, and build consensus.
- Ability to critically analyse information, identify patterns, and translate complex business needs into clear and concise technical specifications.
- Ability to identify and analyse problems, propose solutions, and contribute to effective decision-making processes.
- Proficiency in creating process flows, data models, and other documentation to articulate requirements and support system design.
- Experience working with agile methodologies and in collaborative technology environments.
- Experienced in delivery in a regulatory environment.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Relevant professional certifications in business analysis or working towards the required levels (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis)
- Experience working with agile methodologies and in collaborative technology environments.
