Shag Truck Driver  Job Summary: Hog Slat, Inc., the world’s leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking a Shag Truck Driver for our Humboldt, IA location.  Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change. * Ability to perform pre-trip inspection to ensure product is secured correctly * Ensure safe operation of the Shag Truck on and off company property  * Spot van and flatbed trailers in various yards, docks and pits * Assist with loading trailers with product and prepping freight for shipment  * Operate a straight truck to move freight between warehouse locations * Necessary to have some mechanical aptitude * Use of basic hand tools is a must * Be professional and courteous at all times Skill/Knowledge Required: The ideal candidate will have the following experience/educational background: * Must have a current/valid medical card or possess the ability to obtain one * Must comply with all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations * Class A CDL is required * Approved safe driving record * Flexible to work in house when no driving is needed * Minimum of 3 yrs experience is preferred Hog Slat Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, age disability, veteran status or any other reason prohibited under Federal State or local laws.
