UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is seeking a research project manager for a new shared resource for population-based data, Population-based cANcer Data and Analytics (PANDA). The Manager/Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and coordination of PANDA. They will be expected to develop relationships and maintain ongoing communication with the PANDA leadership team, staff, internal advisory board, users, and other stakeholders. Duties include coordinating and leading regular meetings of PANDA leadership and staff; tracking and overseeing resource use, costs, and budgeting; preparing, tracking, and overseeing shared resource and data-related documentation; completing and maintaining institutional review board and data use agreement submissions; interfacing with potential and current resource users; overseeing compliance, including user compliance with DUA and IRB terms and data security; compiling background information related to key data sources; and participating in preparation of deliverables including presentations and reports.
JOB SUMMARY
Manages all aspects of one or more projects for a research program and oversees all aspects of the project lifecycle. Provides leadership, technical direction, coordination, and expertise across projects. Analyzes progress and/or performance and prepares reports. Ensures compliance with budget, scope, timeline, and regulations. Assists with external communications.
