Description
We’re looking for an experienced Shared Services Manager to lead and optimise our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Invoicing operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll manage a small, high‑performing team and play a key part in maintaining strong financial hygiene, cashflow discipline, and scalable finance processes as the business grows. What you’ll be doing Lead, coach, and manage a shared services team covering AP and AR/Invoicing Own end‑to‑end customer and vendor onboarding, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and well‑documented processes Oversee customer invoicing, collections, dispute resolution, and credit notes Manage accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment runs Own shared services inputs into month‑end close, including reconciliations, accruals, and reporting Monitor and report on AR ageing, DSO, AP ageing, and billing accuracy Drive process improvement, automation, and stronger internal controls in collaboration with Finance Systems and IT teams Support internal and external audit requirements related to shared services processes What we’re looking for 6–10 years’ experience in finance operations, shared services, or transactional finance Proven experience leading AP and AR teams Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, payables, and cashflow drivers Experience supporting month‑end close processes Strong attention to detail with a control‑oriented mindset Solid experience with Workday and Excel Life at Versent We're a diverse team of motivated humans who think outside the box and strive to deliver what others might consider impossible.
