EXPERIENCES/EDUCATION - REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Management
• 3+ years of payroll experience
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Knowledge of payroll processing and time keeping systems
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
• Effectively manages self and team through a fast-paced environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to prioritize work to meet deliverables
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

DESIRED SKILLS AND SOFT SKILLS

• Experience with ADP GlobalView/SAP Payroll
• UKG Time and Attendance knowledge
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of Shared Services/Finance Organizations

• Drive the end-to-end payroll processing cycle and efficiently manage interference
• Manage escalations received by team, employees, or other internal/external customers
• Review, Balance, and reconcile in preparation of payroll sign-off
• Approve outbound funding and wire transfers
• Monitor metrics on key performance indicators and address gaps as needed
• Ensure successful processing of quarter/year-end and scheduled compensation cycles
• Demonstrate and champion a quality culture through oversight of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), process control, and process discipline
• Support employee staffing, onboarding, and training
• Monitor workload and adapt as needed to maintain efficient processing while maintaining segregation of duties and depth of coverage
