Job Title: SharePoint Architect Lead Work Location: Ortigas, Pasig Shift: Day shift (8 am – 5 pm) Work Set-up: Hybrid (3x reporting on site per week) Salary range: PHP 130000 - 140000 About the Role: The organisation is undertaking a digital transformation initiative to modernise its collaboration and content management capabilities. SharePoint will serve as the central platform for document management, knowledge sharing, and workflow automation. To ensure a scalable, secure, and user-centric implementation, a Lead SharePoint Architect is required to provide strategic guidance, design expertise, and technical leadership. • Provide overall architectural direction for SharePoint solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT strategy and security requirements. • Lead the design and implementation of modern SharePoint-based collaboration, intranet, and workflow solutions. • Guide development teams and stakeholders in adopting best practices, governance, and innovative approaches to maximise platform value. Tasks Scope of Work/Responsibilities: The role involves leading independent project teams or participating in major systems development projects as a principal member. Solution Architecture & Design: • Define the overall SharePoint architecture, including site structure, information architecture, security, and integration with enterprise systems. • Design solutions using modern SharePoint Online features, Power Platform, and Azure services where applicable. • Establish and enforce architectural standards, coding practices, and performance benchmarks. Technical Leadership: • Oversee the technical design and development of SharePoint solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and compliance with organizational policies. • Mentor and provide guidance to developers, administrators, and business analysts on SharePoint design methodologies and programming best practices. • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and propose effective solutions. Governance & Best Practices • Develop governance models, security frameworks, and usage guidelines for SharePoint environments. • Ensure solutions comply with organizational data classification, access control, and retention policies. • Support change management and user adoption initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement • Collaborate with business units to translate requirements into effective SharePoint solutions. • Present technical options and recommendations to stakeholders, balancing innovation with feasibility and cost effectiveness. • Act as the subject matter expert for SharePoint-related inquiries. Deliverables & Expected Outcomes: • Solution Architecture Blueprint: Detailed documentation of the SharePoint environment, including information architecture, security, integration, and workflows. • Technical Standards & Guidelines: Established coding standards, governance frameworks, and best practices for ongoing platform use. • Functional Solutions: Fully designed and implemented SharePoint solutions supporting business requirements. • Capacity Building: Training sessions and knowledge transfer for development teams and administrators. • Operational Support: Recommendations for system optimization, scalability, and long-term sustainability. OTHERS: • Should be amenable to work on a hybrid setup in Ortigas Pasig • Must not be a job hopper who only works for less than a year per company • Applicants who are not living in the Philippines and not eligible to work in the country will be rejected Requirements Education and Work Experience: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Certification preferred, ie, Azure Solutions Architect Expert • Experience: 3-5 years of software design and development experience. Proficiency in SharePoint design methodologies and programming languages. • Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for effective solution design. Technical Knowledge: • At least 2 years of experience delivering and maintaining M365 and SharePoint in large corporate settings, including hands-on experience. • At least 2 years of experience developing SPFx solutions • At least 4 years of experience delivering cloud systems in Azure (or AWS), including hands-on experience, including development of CI/CD pipelines. • At least 4 years of experience in full-stack development with common technologies, including React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, Python, HTML, and web services. • Experience with delivering at least 1 GenAI system to production • Experience implementing search engines, relevance ranking, and search engine optimisation. • Experience in developing and delivering mobile apps. • Excellent ability in systems analysis and design, and in preparing functional and detailed specifications. • Experience with and knowledge of Agile system development methodologies, product development, and the use of associated productivity tools (Azure DevOps, SDLC). • Experience with DataDog is preferred. • Certifications in Secure Coding, Scrum, or DevOps will be a plus. • Excellent experience providing support for IT systems. • Experience implementing (Generative) Artificial Intelligence solutions in production. Soft Skills: • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Able to write and verbally communicate in English. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certification (if applicable) • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Reporting and Coordination • For the provision of staff augmentation services, the Agency Personnel will take instructions from the Product Delivery Manager at the Information Technology Department at ADB and work closely with the project team, internal and external stakeholders. • The Agency Personnel will provide any other services as required by the team, the ADB ITD supervisor or the user unit.
