MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 8 years experience; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA.
  • 5 years of experience in SharePoint development and administration.
  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of core SharePoint Online components and architecture, including site collections, lists/libraries, permissions models, and content types.
  • Demonstrated experience with modern Microsoft 365 technologies, including Power Apps (for custom forms) and Power Automate (for workflows).
  • Proficiency in front-end development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience supporting DoD and/or DHS customers in an information management or similar capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to untangle complex business problems, manage competing priorities, and clearly communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • An active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Additionally, you m ust be able to successfully complete a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) background investigation and maintain it for continued employment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Peraton is seeking to hire an experienced SharePoint Developer to join us and become a key part of a collaborative team supporting the critical cybersecurity mission of our customer, CISA.

ROLE & WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a trusted consultant and problem-solver on our team, you’ll be in the driver’s seat, using your expertise to design and implement unique SharePoint solutions that directly impact national security.
Your primary focus will be leveraging the full power of SharePoint’s built-in capabilities, including creating and managing sites, lists, and permissions, as well as developing insightful dashboards in Power BI. When a challenge requires a custom solution, you will draw on your development skills to build it. Your responsibilities cover the full lifecycle, from initial design and user support to testing and deployment.
To be successful, you’ll need a deep understanding of the SharePoint platform, supported by a strong technical toolkit that includes the .NET framework and client-side technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Architect, design, and develop custom applications and solutions on the SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) platform to meet evolving business needs and improve productivity.
  • Manage the full solution lifecycle, from initial planning and requirements gathering through to deployment, user training, and long-term support.
  • Business Analysis: Partner with customer stakeholders to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into clear functional specifications for SharePoint solutions.
  • Support & Operations: Serve as a key point of contact for SharePoint support, performing day-to-day site configuration, managing user permissions, and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process automation and improvement; advise the customer on leveraging new and emerging Microsoft 365 technologies to achieve their goals.
  • Engage with user communities to gather feedback, then develop and maintain organized Information Management (IM) systems (sites, lists, etc.) that ensure data is secure, accessible, and easily shared.
