Description
Apply knowledge of computer science principles, information management principles, automated data processing functions, information technology engineering, hardware and software systems' structures and operation, and computer programming languages and techniques to solve problems. Monitor SharePoint software for any glitches or problems. Manages and revises the layout of the site. Customize SharePoint site for client purposes. Maintain records/metrics of SharePoint updates, maintenance, and activity. Report to government customer with updates and information about SharePoint use. Provide technical support for SharePoint users. Address questions or concerns from command codes about specific SharePoint collection sites. Apply updates to command SharePoint sites as necessary. Hold training and informational sessions to teach employees how to use SharePoint. Attend meetings and training sessions to learn about new software developments. Provide direct client support for IT tools, IT security screens. Formulating executive level briefs to data requests and queries. Provide surge support to other team members across disciplines. Provide technical expertise and guidance in consulting with leadership and participants to shape the agendas of working sessions and meetings. Capturing and following through on actions and project items. Create drafts of various documents including newsletters, meeting minutes, and briefs. Documenting standard operating procedures. Minimum 4 years of professional work experience in customer service, information technology, or program management and analysis support. Minimum 2 years of experience using SharePoint Minimum 1 year of experience with website layouts and html. Minimum 1 year of experience researching a variety of topics and summarizing findings. Active Secret Clearance required. Bachelors degree in business or technical field. Knowledge of NAVSEA / Navy organization, stakeholders, and policies Experience supporting the US Navy or active-duty Navy experience is strongly preferred Superb customer relationship skills Strong organizational skills Excellent analytical, written, oral communication skills Ability to interface with Senior Leadership Possess problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
