A SharePoint Developer designs, builds, customizes, and maintains solutions on the Microsoft SharePoint platform, translating business needs into functional intranets, sites, and apps using coding (C#, JavaScript, .NET) and SharePoint tools (SPFx, REST APIs) to boost productivity and collaboration, involving stakeholder meetings, development, testing, and user support. Key Responsibilities Development & Customization: Create custom web parts, features, sites, and solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), CSOM, REST APIs, and languages like C# & JavaScript. Business Analysis: Collaborate with users and stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical specifications for new solutions. Configuration: Configure SharePoint settings, permissions, and out-of-the-box features. Integration: Connect SharePoint with other systems and APIs for better data flow. Maintenance & Support: Troubleshoot issues, debug code, perform updates, and provide user training. Security: Implement security best practices and ensure data integrity. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SharePoint, .NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, APIs, SQL Server, and Power Platform. Tools: Experience with SharePoint Designer, VS Code, Visual Studio. Experience: Proven experience in SharePoint development, implementation, and migration. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and adaptability. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is often preferred.
