SHAREPOINT / POWER PLATFORM DEVELOPER

Digital Enterprise Solutions, Inc. (DESI) is seeking a SharePoint/Power Platform Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is a Full-time (Regular) Exempt (Salary) position located in Patuxent River, Maryland 20670. Telework will be permitted, however, the candidate must be able to visit the customer site at Patuxent River, MD 20670 (St. Mary’s County Maryland) as need for customer meetings ~1-2 days per week.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

To be considered for this position, you must meet the education and experience listed below:

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• AA/AS/BA/BS degree and one (1) year of related experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above -OR- HS/GED and three (3) years related experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in computer science, Information Systems or similar is preferred.
• College degrees must be obtained from an accredited college or university as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• Experience developing, testing, troubleshooting, and/or providing support for MS Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps and/or Power BI) applications.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining SharePoint lists and libraries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• US Citizenship is required due to US government contract requirement.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance (interim required to start).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates with experience or knowledge in these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

• Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development.
• Experience with React JS application development to include the use of the REST and/or Graph API within the SPFx.
• Power Platform training and/or certification(s).
• Active SECRET clearance.

• Perform the full range of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities, including analysis, design, development, test, deployment, and support within an Agile project environment for custom SharePoint-based web applications.
• Research, provide consultation, and design SharePoint solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Design, develop, and test state of the art solutions using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.).
• Create, deploy, maintain, test, and support Power Automate flows.
• Create, deploy, maintain, test, and support Power BI Dashboards.
• Create, deploy, test, and maintain custom SharePoint pages using the standard SharePoint User Interface.
• Research, troubleshoot, and fix SharePoint site issues.
• Develop standard operating procedures and user documentation related to SharePoint and SharePoint Online (SPO) sites.
• Assist in SharePoint site administration.
