YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essential:

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety (or currently working towards qualification)
• Experience in investigating workplace accidents and incidents
• Background in conducting internal audits to maintain compliance and efficiency
• Familiarity with a range of Risk Assessments, including COSHH, PUWER, and LOLER

Desirable:

• Membership with IOSH as an accredited professional
• Certified Internal Auditor Qualification
• Industry experience within highly regulated environments such as COMAH, Chemical, or Gas

• Supporting and reviewing manufacturing processes and associated documentation
• Facilitating internal and external auditors/investigators
• Leading the way with safety discussions
• Supporting SHE issues including wellbeing and occupational health
• Proactively encouraging continuous improvement ideas for the production area
• Being an active member of an incident and emergency response team
• Liaising with other functions at all levels within the business including external organisations and regulators
• Keeping up-to-date with current and changing legislation
