Maintain accurate, high‑quality records and prepare detailed reports for management and stakeholders. Risk, Incident & Performance Management Conduct and review risk assessments, RAMS and investigations. Ensure all incidents, near misses and safety concerns are reported promptly. Support the preservation of incident scenes and evidence where required. Challenge poor performance and take decisive action to address unsafe practices. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to promote safe working environments. Support and influence improvements in environmental performance. Encourage site feedback through observation cards and open communication. What We’re Looking For Essential Minimum 10 years’ experience in SHE roles. Strong background in major civils, ideally including tunnelling or similarly complex environments. Demonstrable experience managing SHE teams and high‑risk construction projects. NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) – CMIOSH strongly preferred. Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 45001). Environmental qualification (e.g., IEMA). Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 45003. Full UK driving licence. Ability to work long hours and maintain high performance standards. Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Desirable TOPSET or equivalent accident investigation qualification. CSCS card. Experience in concrete frame or large‑scale civils environments.
