Your new role MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Regional SHE Managers provide a crucial service to the businesses within the Robertson Group. They provide personnel across our business with advice, guidance, and support services on SHE related matters, as well as undertaking a corporate governance role on behalf of the senior management teams, at both individual business and Robertson Group levels. A summary of the position’s key requirements are as follows: To undertake SHE related corporate governance monitoring for the local business heads and Robertson Group. To assist in assessing the competence of contractors. To support local business heads in relation to SHE programmes and initiatives. To provide a focus on SHE matters. To provide advice and guidance to personnel in relation to SHE matters. To participate in SHE investigations. To help identify, develop, and as appropriate deliver, SHE training programmes and courses. DUTIES: Conduct site inspections and audits in line with agreed programmes. Participate in significant incident investigations. Assess the SHE competence of vendors at Stage 1 of the CDM competence assessment process. Produce written reports in relation to inspections, audits, and incident investigations in accordance with agreed procedures and protocols.. Deliver in-house SHE training courses; Attend and participate at SHE Department meetings. Attend and participate at local Robertson Group businesses SHE meetings. Liaise with Enforcing Authorities as appropriate Liaise with other SHE professionals within the business as appropriate to further SHEQ performance.
