In this role, you will support our Veterinarians and help care for the health and welfare of our sheep. You’ll be involved in animal monitoring, treatments, record keeping and general farm and animal health activities. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, with animals, and as part of a close-knit team. Key Responsibilities Assist Veterinarians with animal health activities, including sample collection and post-mortems Monitor sheep health and report any concerns promptly Carry out daily animal care and husbandry to industry best-practice standards Complete health and treatment records accurately each day Assist with vaccinations, bleeding programs, paddock inspections and stock checks Maintain the sickbay, equipment and supplies Follow all safety, hygiene and workplace procedures Participate in weekend work on a rotating roster What You’ll Need A current South Australian Driver’s Licence Experience in sheep production, animal science, agriculture or animal health (highly regarded) Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office) Strong attention to detail and good record-keeping skills Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Ability to follow procedures and work safely What We’re Looking For You’ll be someone who is: Reliable and organised Comfortable working with animals Willing to learn and take direction Safety-focused and professional in your work Serb Pharmaceuticals is an equal opportunity employer. Responsibilities

The Sheep Health Assistant will support Veterinarians in animal health activities, including monitoring sheep health and assisting with treatments. Responsibilities also include maintaining health records and ensuring proper animal care and husbandry.
