JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various fabrication processes. This role involves working with metal components to create, repair, and maintain products that meet our high-quality standards. The Metal Fabricator will be responsible for interpreting schematics, welding, and ensuring all fabricated items are built to specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand schematics and technical documents.
• Proficiency in welding techniques and equipment operation.
• Experience with appliance repair is a plus.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and plumbing is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues.

• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate metal components.
• Operate welding equipment and tools to join metal parts together securely.
• Perform appliance repair tasks as needed, ensuring functionality and safety.
• Build and maintain metal structures or components according to project requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of fabricated items to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Utilize knowledge of HVAC systems for relevant fabrication tasks.
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols.
