JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and experienced Welder/Fitter to join our team in the sheet metal fabrication industry. This
role requires expertise in welding and mechanical fitting, with a focus on precision, safety, and efficiency. You will be
responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components based on detailed technical drawings to support
the production of high-quality sheet metal products.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Experience in welding/fitting within the sheet metal or metal fabrication industry.
  • Skilled in MIG and TIG welding, producing clean and strong welds.
  • Proficient with metal fabrication tools and machinery.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and fabrication processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • Good problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Welding certification is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and fit sheet metal components to exact specifications using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics with accuracy.
  • Operate hand and power tools (grinders, saws, shears, press brakes, etc.) for cutting, shaping, and finishing.
  • Inspect and test completed welds and assemblies to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to meet production deadlines.
  • Use math and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures) for precision.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve welding or fitting issues efficiently.
