HVAC Installer / Sheet Metal Technician - Fort McMurray, AB
We are an industry leader with 18+ years of experience in the electrical and mechanical industry in Fort McMurray and the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo. We are growing and looking to add experienced HVAC professionals to our dynamic team.

We are seeking a Journeyman HVAC Installer / Sheet Metal Worker with service experience. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of commercial and industrial projects, providing both new equipment installation and ongoing service and maintenance support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Journeyman Sheet Metal certification
  • Refrigeration certification preferred
  • Class A or B Gas Fitter certification preferred
  • 3+ years experience in HVAC installation and service (commercial/industrial)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to prioritize and adapt to shifting work priorities
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices

    - Comfortable with basic computer programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities
  • Install, service, and maintain HVAC systems, including rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, boilers, air handling units, and ductwork
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance, calibrations, inspections, and balancing
  • Complete maintenance logs, service reports, and client documentation
  • Support estimating, sales, and material take-offs for new scopes of work
  • Mentor apprentices and lead by example on job sites
  • Maintain professional client and coworker relationships

    - Adhere to all safety policies and participate in daily safety meetings
