About the Role: As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, finishing and repairing sheet metal products and equipment. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure that all products meet the required specifications and quality standards. Your attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints will be essential in this role. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Minimum Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications * Experience with sheet metal fabrication tools and equipment (i.e. CNC brake, slip rolls, drill press, band saw, plasma cutter, etc.) * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently * Ability to read a tape measure and convert decimals to fractions down to 1/16" Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with welding * Experience with CNC machines * Certification in sheet metal fabrication * Experience working in a manufacturing environment * Experience working in a 5S/Lean manufacturing environment Responsibilities: * Fabricate, assemble, finish, and repair sheet metal products and equipment * Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products * Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to specifications * Maintain a safe and clean work environment * Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects Skills: In this role, you will use your expertise in sheet metal fabrication and installation to produce high-quality products. You will need to have strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. You will also need to be proficient in the use of sheet metal fabrication tools and equipment. Additionally, experience with welding would be beneficial. You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure timely completion of projects and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities
