Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers to fabricate and assemble metal parts
- Operate plasma cutting equipment to cut and shape metal materials
- Safely operate forklifts to move heavy metal components
- Perform machining operations such as drilling, milling, and grinding
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine project specifications
- Operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets
Skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools for metalworking tasks
- Knowledge of caliper usage for precise measurements
- Experience with plasma cutting equipment for metal fabrication
- Familiarity with operating forklifts in a safe manner
- Ability to perform machining operations for metal shaping
- Experience operating press brake machines for metal bending
