ABOUT THE JOB:

Our client who is an advanced manufacturing facility serving leading aircraft programmes is expanding its forming department. They are looking for a skilled sheet-metal specialist who can shape thin-gauge titanium and aluminium alloys into flight-critical parts. If you thrive on precision, quality and teamwork then this role is for you.

• Align, cut, bend, stamp, press and bulge thin sheet (< 1.5 mm) into complex aerospace components, following detailed specs and process sheets.
• Carry out in-process inspections, keeping meticulous records that satisfy strict aviation quality standards.
• Spot check tooling, dies and presses; perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in top condition.
• Champion safe working practices and contribute ideas for continuous improvement on the shop floor.
