We are hiring a Sheetmetal Mechanic to join our shop in Largo, FL! Hours of operation would be Monday - Friday 7am to 3:30pm in our shop! What you will be doing: * This individual will be responsible for being proficient in all styles of duct (spiral, galvanized, rectangular, double-wall, SnD, etc.) * General knowledge of piping and controls, AC install, retrofit, fiberboard * Responsible for working with fiberglass, plastics, and other nonmetallic materials * Measure and cut appropriate size of sheet metal, as well as install preassemble duct * Interpret blueprints and complete layouts if necessary * Use scribers, dividers, and squares to mark dimensions on materials * Inspect assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications What you need for this position: * 1-2+ years in commercial duct installation * Ability to understand schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications * Experience working with hand tools and power tools * Strong working knowledge of job site safety * OSHA 10 or 30 preferred Interested in joining the team?
