Karitane is seeking for the newly established Shellharbour Integrated Hub, a Support Officer who will play a key role in supporting the development of the child and family hub during this important community consultation phase.
POSITION: Shellharbour Integrated Hub Support Officer
HOURS: Temporary Part-Time (2 Days per week until April 2026)
OPERATIONAL BASE: Shellharbour (with flexibility for other local sites)
AWARD: Health Services Manager Level 1 (HSM 1)

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This position provides high quality administrative and coordination support for the project and will assist in ensuring the needs and voices of the community are represented to the Shellharbour Integrated Hub team
The role involves maintaining efficient systems managing documentation, precise minute taking coordinating meetings and events, and contributing to service planning and improvement. The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and collaborative, working closely with the team to help shape and grow the Hubs capacity to meet local needs.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: (each criteria below must be addressed in your cover letter)
1. Strong organisational and planning skills
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks to timelines. Ability to facilitate communication and track progress on activities to meet a goal, using effective problem-solving skills and collaboration.
2. Project and Service Development Experience
Experience in supporting the development or implementation of community-based services or projects, ideally within health, social services or local government sectors.
3. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders including service providers, community members and government representatives.
4. Organisational and Planning Skills
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute to service planning and improvement initiatives.
5. Digital Literacy
Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools ( E.g.: SharePoint), with the ability to learn new systems and support others in their use. Able to extract information from data reports.
6. Team Collaboration
Ability to work effectively with a diverse group, be a team problem solver, and work collaboratively with a shared vision. Able to work with others on tasks and reliable completing independent work.
