What we are looking for NRC Jordan is in search of a Shelter and Settlements PDM. The role holder will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the Shelter & Settlements programme. The position reports to the Camps Area Manager, with a technical reporting line to the Head of Programme. Additionally, this position holds technical responsibility at the national level and managerial, programmatic, and budgetary responsibility at the area level. **This role is open only to internal NRC staff and applicants must be legally eligible to work in Jordan. We are unable to provide work permits or visa sponsorships for this position** What You Will Do Develop and update the Shelter & Settlements CC strategy, technical SOPs/guidelines and Macro LFAs Compliance and adherence to NRC policies, CC tools, handbooks and guidelines. Responsible to develop and manage funding proposal, project budgets and donor reports Overall management of project staff. Coordinate and manage Shelter & Settlements CC project implementation (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements. Ensure capacity building of project staff and transfer key skills. Liaison and collaborate with relevant local and national authorities and stakeholders and represent NRC in relevant forums/working groups. Promote the rights of refugees in line with the advocacy strategy. Ensure the integration of gender, protection and advocacy priorities in the Shelter & Settlement CC. What You Will Bring Minimum 3 years of experience from a senior level project implementation position in a humanitarian/recovery context (Project manager or similar) working in Shelter & Settlements programming in a refugee context. Experience working in camps setting is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in a technical construction or related fields. Civil engineering or Architecture is a must. Experience in working in complex and volatile contexts. Technical shelter expertise and technical knowledge and experience of construction systems and rehabilitation in a humanitarian context. Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Strong experience with project cycle management (PCM) and in project development; including ability to lead on assessments, design; with good skills in proposal writing/reporting. Proven experience in leading and managing teams. Knowledge and skills in cash-based interventions and/or market-based programmes, experience with market analysis is desirable. Excellent communication, networking, and partnership-building skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement MEAL frameworks. What We Offer Amman, Jordan duty station.
