Job Title: Underground Shift Coordinator Location: Salt Lake City, UT Schedule: 5/5/4 About the role The Underground Shift Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the ongoing construction activities and day-to-day operations of the Underground Mine. The role works closely with the Underground leadership team and multiple contractor groups to ensure safe, coordinated, and efficient execution of work. This position operates on a rotating roster across day and night shifts, including weekdays and weekends, and requires flexibility to work across all shift patterns. Duties and Responsibilities include: Execution of planning and integration with surface and underground operations Oversite of the Underground Mine Contractors Ensure proper permitting Quality assurance through daily inspections Coordination of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities Coordinate day-to-day work scope between other contractor teams and active operations Manage project daily reports and project documentation Support other team members with their roles and responsibilities Fulfill Underground Safety Standard requirements as needed. Oversee and coordinate underground related work activities Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years experience in an underground mining environment, and at least two years’ supervisory experience, with demonstrated capability in underground development, stope mining, and underground construction. Experience in critical risk management, quality assurance, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, as well as schedule development and management, is considered desirable.
