ESSENTIAL CRITERIA AND QUALIFICATIONS

Time served engineer, HNC or ONC Qualification.
Food Safety Level 2 for Engineers.
Demonstrate compliance with Company Rules and ensure that discipline is maintained at all times.
Ensure that the Company Disciplinary Procedure is adhered to.
Demonstrate compliance with all requirements of the Company’s Health and Safety Policy. You and your team pursue safe working practices. You must take action if any machinery or your working environment becomes unsafe or if you see anyone doing anything unsafe. Any such instances are to be documented and reported.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

100% Completion of “sign off” for all repairs involving spares replacement or machine strip downs. Ensuring all sections are completed correctly and accepted back, by way of signature from Operations.
Take part in Special Cause Breakdown investigation meetings to provide information that will accurately account for any problems that occurred. Providing a permanent corrective action to prevent re-occurrence.
Work with Engineering Management to review Common cause breakdowns and suggest solutions to eliminate re-occurrence.
Supporting Operator maintenance to maximize its effectiveness
Ensure all reasonable requests of support are treat with the utmost urgency.
Provide technical support to each operator to maximize their development.
Ensure availability of tools and consumables for operator maintenance
Completion of Preventative Maintenance task as per schedule
Documenting any further repairs that cannot be completed at the time of the PM.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

Assist with supporting the training and development of colleagues, who are new to the business (core or agency) on tasks / activities that you have been trained and competent to do so
Ensure effective communication.
Undertake any additional responsibilities as required within your area of competence.
Promote and participate in Food Safety Culture.
Ensure we all do the right things for People, Product and Planet.
