Job Purpose: This role is responsible for managing all aspects of railway yard operations, including the maintenance of locomotives, signalling systems, and wagon conditions to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations. They manage the reception and unloading of coal rakes, maintain communication systems, and enforce safety and environmental standards within the railway yard. Additionally, the role involves meticulous documentation and reporting, as well as implementing digitization and automation initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.
