POSITION SUMMARY Pier One Sydney Harbour is looking for a Shift Engineer to join our team. Job Scope: Perform various maintenance services and repairs across the property; including 189 hotel rooms, 3 kitchens, event spaces, back of house areas and offices. Assist in maintaining the buildings' plant equipment including chiller, boilers, ventilation systems, pumps, water and sewage services. Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and low voltage electrical tasks (trade experience required) Perform Preventative maintenance tasks in our hotel rooms using Transcendent App Daily reporting of all energy, water and gas meters around the property Adhere to sound maintenance practices, building codes and following safety precautions Small scale installation and construction works Operating the EMS Fire System for isolate/de-isolate requests Operate and monitor the Building Management System (BMS) to respond to requests and adjust HVAC operations, ensuring optimal comfort, efficiency, and system performance across the property Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Reach overhead and below the knees. Move in confined or elevated spaces. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. Move up and down stairs, service ramps and/or a ladder.
