We are looking for an experienced Shift Engineer to join us at The Stafford London. Working within a team of 7 the Shift Engineer will support the Engineering team efficiently to maintain all hotel operations such as safety, and security, and that compliance is ensured at the highest level.

• Perform regular inspections, carry out preventive maintenance, and repairs in and around the Property as well as on equipment, and systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance or repairs in guest rooms, common areas, and meeting spaces. Multitasking minor works, plumbing and electrical.
• Perform preventative maintenance on bedrooms, tools and equipment.
• Maintain daily/ weekly/ monthly logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activities.
• Communicate with guests/ customers when necessary to resolve maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines, and take appropriate measures to address safety hazards in the workplace.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address complex maintenance issues.
