ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a skilled Fitter Operator to join our Stapylton Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating shift roster.

• 12-hour shifts, Day - 6am – 6pm and Night - 6pm – 6am.
• Week 1 – 4 x Night shifts, Week 2 – 3 x Day shifts, 3 x Night shifts, Week 3 – 4 x Day shifts, Week 4 – no shifts
• Weekends and Public Holidays as part of roster paid at penalty rates.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
• Operating a production line to ensure minimal downtime.
• Set up and fine tuning of machines for optimal productivity.
• Work with high-speed manufacturing equipment, understanding production demands.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
