• Start Date: ASAP
  To oversee and coordinate the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of the urea plant during assigned shifts. The Shift In-Charge is responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining plant integrity, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards, and leading shift personnel in accordance with standard operating procedures and organizational policies.
  This role plays a critical part in optimizing plant performance, minimizing unplanned downtime, and driving operational excellence across the production unit.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, or equivalent
• Additional certifications in safety or process operations (preferred)

EXPERIENCE:

• 12–16 years of experience in urea plant operations (preferably with large-scale or integrated chemical complexes)
• At least 5-7 years in a supervisory or shift leadership role

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Strong knowledge of urea & ammonia production processes (e.g., steam methane/AT reforming, air separation, synthesis loop)
• Familiarity with DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and plant automation tools
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills under pressure
• Good understanding of P&IDs, SOPs, Interlock/Logic diagrams, PTW systems, and root cause analysis
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
