OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional care for our children who we support, as well as providing leadership for the staff on shift. As a Shift Leader, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our standards are maintained, and to give support and guidance to our children which includes support and guidance, supporting staff and smooth running of a shift working within regulation as well as running of a food preparation, safety, and customer satisfaction are met consistently.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the children’s care industry. .
  • Strong supervisory skills with experience with in the care industry.
  • Background in healthcare care o barista experience is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is required.
  • Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively.
  • Previous experience in a children’s care home setting or similar environment is mandatory. Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the team during shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
  • Complete paperwork to ensure compliance and within regulation.
  • Assist in training new staff members in a care centred children home.
  • Assist in the writing of Care Plans, and implementation of care plans.
  • Coordinate with management to implement new plans for both children.
  • Support of children in activities and development.
  • To act professionally when dealing with parents; professionals; colleagues as well as children.
  • Ensure adequate staff levels on shift and arrange cover cover where necessary.
  • Prepared to undertake mandatory training and work within regulatory timescales.
