Our facility offers a wide range of entertainment options, including a robust indoor freeplay mega structure, cafe, and party rooms for various celebrations. We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible Shift Lead to join our team and oversee the smooth operation of our facility during assigned shifts. Position Overview: As a Shift Lead at Syctron, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our facility during your designated shifts. You will be responsible for supervising and guiding Crew Members, opening and closing the facility, overseeing cash handling procedures, and ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable and safe experience. Your leadership and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining our high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety. Key Responsibilities: Shift Management: Open and close the facility, including unlocking and locking doors, setting up and shutting down equipment, and ensuring the readiness of all operational areas. Take ownership of the shift, delegating tasks to Crew Members, and ensuring that all responsibilities are carried out efficiently and effectively. Serve as the point of contact for operational issues and decisions during your shift. Assist in overseeing daily operations as directed by the General Manager. Cash Handling: Supervise cashiers and assist with cash handling procedures, including verifying cash registers and counting cash at the end of the shift. Ensure accuracy in cash transactions and adherence to cash-handling policies. Training and Supervision: Train new and existing Crew Members on their job duties, safety protocols, and customer service expectations. Provide guidance and support to Crew Members throughout the shift, addressing any questions or concerns. Guest Experience: Monitor the amusement floor to ensure guests adhere to safety regulations and park rules. Address guest inquiries, resolve issues, and assist with exceptional customer service. Additional Responsibilities: Maintain a safe and clean environment by conducting regular inspections and addressing any safety, cleaning, or maintenance issues. Oversee inventory levels and communicate any supply needs to management. Assist with equipment maintenance and report any issues for repair. Communicate with management regarding any incidents or unusual occurrences during the shift. Collaborate with other Shift Leads and management to ensure consistency in operations. Requirements Must be 18 years or older to apply. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to handle cash and maintain accurate records. Commitment to safety and ensuring a positive guest experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
