Description
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Shift Lead will supervise the operations of the unit by organizing the activity/workflow of the plant and making the interface with other teams (Industrial / Maintenance, SIO Center, Business Developer....) Operations Management Coordinates with SIOC (Smart innovative operation/optimization center) to optimize facility performance by focusing on the efficiency and reliability of production and processes; implements energy sourcing strategies Follows SOP and participates in SOP writing and continuous improvement, in order to ensure the plant and its network reaches their best operating point Supports the facility’s unattended control room model by monitoring and responding to alarm conditions when ‘on call’; uses DCS and other available systems and platforms to troubleshoot issues; mobilizes and visits the site to attend escalated alarm issues as required. Investigates operations issues arising within his/her domain(s) of competency with an aim of reducing the lead time between trouble detection and clearance Safely operates the plant in specific non-standard modes Using the automated loading systems, coordinates with material and bulk product drivers to ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of raw materials and products Competently starts up and shuts down plant equipment safely and in compliance with applicable SOPs Asset Management Follows AL maintenance strategy to ensure effective organization and optimization of the facility, equipment and systems Completes routine and corrective M1 maintenance tasks as assigned by the maintenance supervisor, including but not limited to analyzer checks and calibration, safety valve inspection, oil sampling) Performs routine rounds, equipment health inspections and facility checks (eg - EIS, back-up systems); logs required readings and recording observations which may signal issues in order to reduce plant downtime Supports in managing contractors under direction of the Facility Manager Manages local spare parts and consumables inventory (including PO creation, handling and storage) Supports the implementation of facility policies and procedures External Customer Management Upon Facility Manager delegation and in coordination with SIOC, communicates with customers around production plans, customer requirements, and incident management Knowledge sharing and collaboration Assists the Facility Manager and the Maintenance team in the investigation of incidents and development of corrective actions and protocol Communicates effectively with colleagues on-site, the SIOC and Hub Experts in order to identify trends, share data and disseminate information Mentors and supports site colleagues with On Job Training tasks within domain of expertise Actively participates in plant meetings Promotes compliance with all Group directives Completes all required digital and on job trainings including mandatory Group trainings, IMS and GP03 trainings within domains of expertise Safety Responsible for site emergency management issues; ensures he/she is trained and qualified for proper implementation of the emergency response plan and plant security plan Coordinates with contract and in-house maintenance teams on the safe handover of equipment; performs proper isolation of the system, energy control and isolation Contributes to the development and observation of site safety standards and compliance (eg - work permits); works to identify and implement preventative/corrective actions after near misses are reported Actively contributes towards the compliance of all regulations applicable to his/her domain(s) of competency including participating in inspections and audits ___________________ Are you a MATCH?
