Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in hospitality or management is a plus

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in food service or concessions, with some experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Experience in high-volume or fast-paced environments is preferred

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct the activities of line cooks, ensuring they are working efficiently and maintaining quality standards.
  • Lead by example by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining guest satisfaction.
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to restaurant recipes, ensuring consistency and presentation.
  • Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and plating to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner, even during high-volume service periods.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior line cooks and kitchen staff, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally.
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef, Executive Chef, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and the efficient flow of the kitchen.
  • Assist in managing inventory, checking stock levels, and ensuring that the kitchen has the necessary supplies for daily operations.
  • Ensure that the kitchen is kept clean, organized, and in compliance with health and safety standards.
    Qualifications:
