JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Shift Leader to oversee daily operations in our new Smalls Sliders located in Blue Springs MO. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining inventory control while fostering a positive work environment.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a leadership role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes and food safety standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems and kitchen operations is essential.
• Experience in budgeting and financial management within a restaurant or bar setting is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in training new employees on food management practices, POS systems, and customer service protocols.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and bar areas.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
• Collaborate with management on budgeting and financial planning to optimize operational efficiency.
• Support bartending activities as needed, ensuring quality beverage service.
