Shift Leader
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the shift staff
- Ensure smooth operations during the shift, including opening and closing procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues
- Train and mentor new team members
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Oversee food production and ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with bartending duties as necessary
- Coordinate banquet and catering events
- Collaborate with the assistant manager to implement company policies and procedures
Skills:
- Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in a coffee shop, hotel, or banquet setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
